Atom Tickets Now Accepts Chase Pay to Bring Fans to the Movies

PRESS RELEASE

NEW YORK—July 11, 2017— Atom Tickets and Chase Pay are making it simpler for movie fans to plan, order and pay for their theater experience entirely from their mobile device. In time for the release of the highly anticipated and critically acclaimed film War for the Planet of the Apes on July 14, Chase Pay and Atom Tickets are giving fans an exclusive opportunity to buy one ticket and get one free, to mark the start of their partnership.

The promotion will be automatically applied for Atom Ticket app users who check out with Chase Pay from July 3 through July 16, while supplies last.  Atom Tickets provides a first-of-its-kind VIP experience that lets users bypass lines at the theater, preorder concessions and invite friends and family to join them.

Chase ATM screens, Chase.com and social channels, the Atom app and the Chase Mobile app will let customers know about the offer, which will also be promoted on @atomtickets.

“People look forward to great summer movie experiences and now movie fans can plan and pay right from their phone,” said Dina DeMerell, head of marketing for Chase Pay. “Using Chase Pay on the Atom Tickets app goes beyond just paying for your ticket – it’s convenient, social and rewarding for moviegoers.”

In War for the Planet of the Apes, Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel (Woody Harrelson).  After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind.  As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet. The film will open in U.S. theaters Friday, July 14th. For more information please visit www.warfortheplanet.com.

“The Chase Pay integration highlights our commitment to creating an exceptional mobile-first experience, and we’re honored to celebrate our partnership with a special offer for War for the Planet of the Apes,” said Matthew Bakal, co-founder and chairman, Atom Tickets. “We’re building the most convenient mobile ticketing platform, and Chase Pay’s simple payment option plays an important part in that equation.”

Chase Pay and Atom initially announced a partnership late last year. Soon their collaboration will expand to include Chase Pay at checkout on their website, atomtickets.com.

Atom’s socially driven app has attracted over 10 million users and counting, making Atom Tickets the fastest growing movie ticketing platform in North America.

How Atom Tickets Works:

Atom Tickets re-imagines the most convenient way for users to plan a night out at the movies. The free app and website provide relevant reviews, trailers and synopses to help customers make the best decision on what to see. Moviegoers may then invite friends (via Facebook or their contact lists) to purchase their own tickets to join them. Atom offers streamlined ordering of tickets and concessions from any Android or iOS phone. At the theater, users go directly to the ushers and concession counters, where they simply scan a QR code at tablet kiosks. Paper tickets and IOUs have been replaced by Atom’s innovative platform, which keeps all plans, messaging, payment and tickets in one place.
