Sony/Columbia’s Western remake The Magnificent Seven readied, aimed, and fired to a $34.70 million opening weekend to lead the box office. Warner Bros.’ animated Storks debuted a bit less than many analysts expected with a $21.31 million opening. And Warner Bros.’ Sully ended its two-week reign atop the box office with a third place $13.53 million.
