The International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA) has named Cineplex Germering, operated by KinoGruppeRusch, as the recipient of the 2026 ICTA Presentation Excellence Award. A Cinema Experience at the Highest Level
With the comprehensive modernisation of Cineplex Germering, KinoGruppeRusch has created a new benchmark for contemporary cinema exhibition. At the heart of the project is the newly opened ULTIMATE. Studio x ICE THEATERS, combining state-of-the-art projection technology, immersive Dolby Atmos sound, motion seating and the multi-dimensional ICE THEATERS concept with dynamic lighting, side projections and additional sensory effects to deliver an exceptional cinema experience.
In recent months, the cinema has also undergone a significant architectural transformation. Its redesigned lobby creates an open, premium environment and underlines KinoGruppeRusch’s vision of cinema as a complete leisure experience.
Continuous Investment in Innovation and Sustainability
