This July, Criterion will transform the Hollywood Bowl’s Music from the Films of Wes Anderson concert into Criterion’s largest public event yet with its first-ever pop-up cinema. Alongside the return of the brand’s beloved Mobile Closet, Criterion is launching the first-ever Criterion Cinema, offering fans screenings curated by Anderson, and brand-new ways to engage with Criterion and the world of Wes Anderson. Screening events will take place at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Celebrate one of cinema’s most distinctive artists, featuring a program curated by Anderson himself, a blend of his own films and works that inspired him. Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy exclusive screenings and additional surprise moments with VIP appearances. Guests can also stop by the Criterion listening booth, Criterion Channel viewing lounge, and pick up one-of-a-kind, limited-edition Wes Anderson merch.
