Northwoods Theater Group, an affiliate of Emagine Entertainment, has announced the grand opening of Emagine Parker on Wednesday, July 1, marking the family-owned theater company’s first Colorado location and the completion of a reimagined 32,000-square-foot entertainment destination for Parker residents.
To celebrate its Colorado debut, Emagine Parker, located at 18625 Stage Run, will host a private grand opening celebration on June 30 benefiting HopeKids Colorado and its mission to provide ongoing events, activities, and a powerful, unique support community for families who have a child with cancer or some other life-threatening medical condition.
The invitation-only event will welcome HopeKids families, community leaders, business leaders, civic officials and special guests for an exclusive first look at the theater, along with an early screening of Young Washington, courtesy of Angel. Following the private celebration, Emagine Parker will officially open to the public on Wednesday, July 1. Tickets are on sale now.
The newly renovated destination features 10 auditoriums, including two premium large-format EMX auditoriums, immersive Dolby Atmos audio, and state-of-the-art 4K projection designed to deliver an unparalleled cinematic experience. Every auditorium features luxury heated recliner seating, while guests throughout the theatre can enjoy expanded food and beverage offerings, a full-service bar featuring craft cocktails, beer, and wine, and enhanced gathering spaces designed for socializing before and after the show.
Emagine Parker will also serve as the launch location for the company’s first-ever self-ordering guest experience, introducing a new kiosk system designed to streamline concessions purchasing and reduce wait times. The technology is expected to serve as a model for future locations throughout the circuit. The company also plans a second phase of development that will introduce a dedicated space for local music and live performances.
As part of the grand opening celebration, Emagine will also launch a special loyalty promotion for moviegoers throughout the region. Guests who present a loyalty membership from another theater brand will receive one complimentary year of Emagine Rewards Extras, the company’s premium membership tier, providing enhanced benefits, exclusive offers, and savings throughout the year.
The theater’s transformation was led by entertainment design firm DECA. The firm has delivered pioneering projects across the entertainment and leisure sectors, including collaborations with major cinema operators and developers such as Warner Bros, Village Roadshow, the Kuwait National Cinema Company, and Roxy Cinemas. DECA was instrumental in the development of Roxy’s flagship concepts at Boxpark and Dubai Hills. The team has also worked closely with SEVEN entertainment venues and is now contributing to the development of projects within Qiddiya.
“Opening our first Colorado location is an incredibly exciting moment for our entire organization,” said Jon Goldstein, the owner of Northwoods Theater Group. “From the beginning, our goal was to create something Parker didn’t already have…a completely reimagined entertainment destination that brings together premium movie experiences, great food and drinks, innovative technology, and an atmosphere designed to bring people together. We’re proud of what we’ve built and excited to finally welcome the community inside.”
“We’re incredibly grateful to Emagine Parker for giving back to local HopeKids families as part of its grand opening,” said Robbin Brown, the executive director of HopeKids Colorado. “The proceeds from this event will help us provide a private movie screening for the local families we serve, giving them something to look forward to and an opportunity to spend time together. For many of these families, experiences like going to the movies offer a welcome break from the stress and uncertainty that often accompany a child’s life-threatening medical condition.”
