Christie announced that the Georgia Theatre Company (GTC) has renewed its agreement with Christie Professional Services for another three years to support its circuit-wide projection systems for theaters in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida. The partnership started in 2009 during the theater chain’s digital cinema conversion.

The agreement with the theater group includes services for preventative maintenance, remote monitoring, technical support, and rapid-response service across all locations, helping to maintain consistent, premium presentation standards for Georgia Theatres’ patrons. Christie’s proactive monitoring and onsite services consistently achieve optimal light levels, image quality, and sound performance across all auditoriums.

“At Georgia Theatre Company, we believe great presentation, a family-friendly atmosphere, and exceptional service are the foundation of the moviegoing experience,” says Bo Chambliss, the president of the Georgia Theatre Company. “Our partnership with Christie ensures that every screen across our circuit consistently performs at the highest level. Reliability matters in our business, and Christie has proven to be a partner we can count on. As an employee-owned company, our team takes presentation quality personally, and it shows in the experience our guests have every day. Christie helps us maintain that first-class standard across our entire circuit.”

“The Professional Services Team is grateful to have been selected to continue to support Georgia Theatre Company, “says Bryan Weil, the senior account manager of professional services at Christie.” We value our long partnership and are excited to support their entire footprint, including their newest location, Trilith Cinemas, which features several new CineLife™ Series 4 projection systems.”
