Held with strategic support and hosted by ESPM (Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing), InovaCine will lead Results: Past, Present and Future on February 5th, bringing together leading figures from exhibition, distribution and public policy to shape the Brazilian market in 2026 and mark the opening of Brazil’s Cinema Week. Aimed at cinema exhibitors and audiovisual professionals, the in-person event will take place at ESPM’s São Paulo campus and will be restricted to industry professionals and students, serving as the official opening class of ESPM’s Cinema and Audiovisual program.
Running from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., the event will feature a series of panels on public policy and regulation, exhibition experience, 2025 market results, and more. The event also takes place on the opening day of Brazil’s Cinema Week, a nationwide initiative offering discounted movie tickets for seven days. Lúcio Otoni, President of FENEEC (National Federation of Cinema Exhibition Companies), will officially open Cinema Week during the event. “Our focus is to understand, in practical terms, what needs to be done to generate real value and concrete results for the sector. InovaCine wants to provoke this conversation: how can we come together to build a stronger market? The idea is to discuss strategies that work for everyone and that can truly bring audiences back in 2026,” says Kauê Ferraz, the executive director of InovaCine.
“At ESPM, we understand that innovation comes from research, analysis and the consistent systematization of information. We train great artists, but with a deep understanding of the market. Our program is highly specialized in audiovisual business, because that is our DNA: preparing professionals capable of thinking strategically about cinema and audiovisual, connected to the industry, public policy and sector transformations. Bringing this debate into the classroom is a fundamental part of our mission,” says Gisele Jordão, the coordinator of ESPM’s cinema and audiovisual program in São Paulo.
