Bloomfield Hills, February 16th, 2017—Bloomfield Hills based MJR Digital Cinemas CEO and Founder, Michael Mihalich has announced today plans to convert the seating in all 20 auditoriums to luxurious leather electric reclining seating at their Brighton Towne Cinema 20 location. The leather electric reclining seats will provide Brighton movie patrons with the latest and greatest in theatre seating comfort. In addition reserve seating will allow patrons to pick their specific seats over the internet at the time the purchase their tickets.
In addition plans include adding a Studio Bar and Lounge in the lobby.
The electric recliner seating along with reserve seating is taking the movie theatre industry by storm.
MJR has completed the conversions at 2 locations, Chesterfield Crossing located at 23 mile and Gratiot and Partridge Creek located in the Partridge Creek Mall location located on Hall Road in Clinton Township.
Currently 2 other MJR locations are under construction. The MJR Waterford 16 location on M59 and the MJR Southgate 20 location at Trenton and Eureka Roads in Southgate are scheduled for completion prior to Easter this year.
Current plans are to start the Brighton conversion in mid-May with completion scheduled prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. The theatre will remain open and operating throughout the construction.
MJR Digital Cinema, a Michigan based and Michigan owned company has 9 locations with a 10th opening in April in Warren, Michigan, which will bring their total number of screens to 164.
MJR Digital Cinemas have been serving Southeastern Michigan’s entertainment needs for 37 years.
