Qube Wire’s Electronic Delivery Network Exceeds 1,500  Cinemas Across North America

Cloud-based digital cinema distribution provider Qube Wire announced today that its electronic content delivery network now includes more than 1,500 cinema locations in North America.

The milestone reflects the rapid expansion of the Qube Wire network and reinforces its position as the  industry’s fastest-growing electronic delivery platform. The network now serves cinemas operated by all of  the country’s leading exhibitors, including AMC Theatres, Regal Cinemas, and Cinemark Theatres.

“Installations have been fast and easy and we’re already benefiting from the added flexibility that Qube  Wire’s content delivery brings to our cinemas,” said Mark Latimer, Vice President, Sight and Sound, AMC  Theatres.

As the network continues to grow, Qube’s clients have access to a larger connected footprint and the  associated flexibility and cost savings. IMAX is one of these clients that has recently expanded their use  of Qube’s network in North America.

“Qube Wire has been a trusted partner for IMAX, delivering the reliability and responsiveness we depend  on across our domestic and international distribution operations,” said Grace Chochola, SVP, Post and  Operations at IMAX. “We value their commitment to service and look forward to continuing our partnership  as their network grows.”

“Qube Wire is committed to expanding access and driving down the cost of content delivery for our  customers,” said Mark Waterston, Executive Vice President, Qube Wire. “Release schedules are increasingly complex, and distributors require greater flexibility to reach audiences quickly and securely.”

Globally, Qube Wire connects approximately 6,700 theaters across the world, setting industry benchmarks  for delivery speed, content security, and operational flexibility.
