Regal and Fathom Entertainment have added 4DX immersive seating showtimes to upcoming release The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act, in theaters June 4. Pre-sales for The Last Act—which combines episodes 8 and 9 of the popular web series—have already climbed to $7.5 million, per Fathom. Recognizing the overwhelming positive response for this theatrical release, Fathom Entertainment has provided Regal with limited-edition collectible popcorn and drink containers, available at participating theaters.
“The Amazing Digital Circus has inspired a passionate fandom drawn to its singular mix of surreal comedy, emotional storytelling, and unforgettable characters,” said Brooks LeBoeuf, Senior Vice President of US Content at Regal. “For fans who have been waiting for The Last Act, Regal is excited to turn the series finale into a truly immersive theatrical event by presenting it in 4DX.”
The first episode of The Amazing Digital Circus appeared on the Glitch Productions YouTube channel in October 2023 and steadily gained popularity across the world, culminating in a nine-episode story arc. Available for fans to first watch the series finale in theaters, The Last Act combines episode eight with the hour-long episode nine, which won’t be released on YouTube until June 19.
