With weekend actuals in, Disney’s Captain America: Civil War was down a bit from Sunday’s studio estimate, but still registered the fifth largest opening weekend performance of all time with $179,139,142. Disney’s The Jungle Book ($24,488,436) and Open Road’s Mother’s Day ($11,087,076) both came in ahead of their respective studio estimates thanks to stronger than expected Mother’s Day performances on Sunday.
