Cinergy Entertainment Group announced that it achieved the highest-grossing weekend in company history, generating more than $2.1 million in total revenue from June 19–21. Driven by the highly anticipated debut of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5, strong holdover performances from recent releases, and robust demand across Cinergy’s family entertainment offerings, the record-setting weekend marked a milestone for the entertainment company.

The achievement represents a 75 percent increase over the previous weekend and an 80 percent increase compared to the same weekend in 2025. Cinergy’s box office revenues outpaced the broader cinema industry, with comparable-location box office revenue increasing 92 percent year-over-year. In addition to the company-wide record, Cinergy Midland Tall City also celebrated the highest-grossing weekend in its history, generating more than $305,000 in revenue and surpassing its previous record established in May.

“This was an extraordinary weekend for our industry and for Cinergy,” said Darek Heath, the chief operating officer of Cinergy Entertainment. “Great movies bring people to theaters, and Toy Story 5 clearly resonated with audiences. We’re grateful to Disney and Pixar for delivering another incredible theatrical event, and we are especially proud of our teams across the company for executing at a high level during a record-setting weekend. Achievements like this are built over time through thoughtful planning, investment and a consistent focus on the guest experience.”
