Golden Ticket Cinemas has taken over operations for two Village Centre Cinemas locations in Lewiston and Moscow, ID. For over 20 years, Village Centre Cinemas has served the Lewis-Clark Valley and Palouse communities. This transition is set to combine the local traditions guests value with the resources, experience, and industry knowledge that Golden Ticket Cinemas brings from operating theaters across the country.
Golden Ticket Cinemas is committed to keeping all the amenities that moviegoers love at both locations, which includes the popular Tuesday discounts and the Summer Kids Movie Series. In addition, Golden Ticket Cinemas is excited to introduce new amenities such as the money-saving Annual Popcorn Bucket, the robust Gold Star loyalty program, and some new and exciting menu items.
“We are thrilled to welcome Golden Ticket Cinemas to our communities,” said Village Centre Cinemas ownership. “Their national theater expertise and passion for creating memorable experiences will help strengthen and build upon the tradition of entertainment that our guests have enjoyed for years. We look forward to seeing continued investment and growth in Lewiston and Moscow. Movie theaters are a cherished pastime and gathering place for families and friends, and we believe they remain an important part of vibrant communities. We heard the disappointment expressed following the closure of our Pullman location and understood how meaningful the movie-going experience is to so many people. After exploring numerous opportunities, we felt the best path forward was to keep these locations open and operating, ensuring that this tradition continues for future generations. We are confident that Golden Ticket Cinemas is the right partner to help preserve and strengthen that legacy.”
“We are excited to welcome the guests and team members of the Moscow and Lewiston locations into the Golden Ticket Cinemas family,” said Joe Horton, the director of press relations for Golden Ticket Cinemas. “These theaters have long served their communities, and we look forward to continuing that tradition while enhancing the overall moviegoing experience for our guests. Our goal is to make this transition as seamless as possible so moviegoers can continue enjoying the biggest films of the summer with little to no interruption.”
