Luke and company continued to rake it in overseas on Wednesday, with The Last Jedi bringing in another $20.3M (not including China) for an international haul of $295M in its first six days. The film’s global total now stands at $573.8M. It will easily top $600 million by end of day Thursday.
Wednesday (12/20) Update:
The Last Jedi grossed an estimated $21.8 million in overseas markets on Tuesday, giving it a running total of $274.8 million internationally and a global total of $536.7 million. As previously noted, those numbers don’t include China, where the film is slated to open on January 5.
Tuesday (12/19) Update:
Star Wars: The Last Jedi took in an estimated $22.2 million overseas on Monday, including $4.3 million in the UK, $2.1 million in Germany, and $2.2 million in Japan. That doesn’t include the lucrative Chinese market, where it’s not scheduled to open until January 5. Yesterday’s gross brings the film’s international total to $253 million and its global total to $494.6 million.
