Showcase Cinemas has announced its 2026 summer lineup of events and promotions for Starpass members, Showcase Cinemas’ free loyalty program. Whether looking to cool off from the heat or a night out with friends and family, Showcase Cinemas is offering summer fun, savings, and unforgettable movie moments. With the large number of highly anticipated films coming this summer, Showcase Cinemas is offering a ‘See 3 & Go Free’ promotion for Starpass members now through August 31. Starpass members who see three movies on three separate days and purchase food and beverage concession items during each visit will receive a free movie ticket to be used between September 1 and November 1, 2026. This offer is available at all Showcase Cinemas locations (excluding Showcase SuperLux in Chestnut Hill, MA).
New this summer, Showcase Cinemas is introducing Starpass Saturdays at all locations. The last Saturday of the month (June 27, July 25, and August 29) Starpass members will receive double bonus points on all purchases made on movie tickets and concessions. Additionally, Showcase Cinema de Lux Legacy Place in Dedham, MA; Showcase Cinema de Lux Hanover Crossing in Hanover, MA; and Showcase Cinema de Lux North Attleboro will be offering a $3 bonus credit for new Starpass signups on Starpass Saturdays, and will have activities and live music in their respective cinema lobbies throughout the day.
This Independence Day, celebrate in true blockbuster style with the Starpass Summer 4th of July VIP Party taking place at Showcase Cinemas in Dedham, MA and Showcase Cinemas in North Attleboro. Starpass members will receive a free upgrade to XPlus Laser with Dolby Atmos—Showcase’s premium large format screen experience—and Lux Level—Showcase’s luxury fully reclining section with in-theater dining on a first-come first-serve basis. Plus, members will receive a free size upgrade on popcorn, $2.50 hot dogs, and double bonus points on virtually all purchases. New members who sign up on July 4th will receive a $5 bonus reward just for joining.
To ensure moviegoing is accessible to all this summer, Showcase is offering sensory-friendly screenings of Minions & Monsters and Moana. These screenings will offer lower sound levels, softer lighting, no trailers, and 2D presentations for a more comfortable viewing experience. Every child’s ticket purchase comes with a complimentary 123 Go-Box (with popcorn, soft drink or ICEE and special size candy). Sensory-friendly screenings of Minions & Monsters will take place at 10am on July 12 and Moana on August 9. These screenings will be available at select locations including Blackstone Valley 14: Cinema de Lux, Showcase Cinema de Lux Legacy Place, Showcase Cinema de Lux Hanover Crossing, Showcase Cinema in Massachusetts, Island 16: Cinema de Lux in New York, and Showcase Cinema de Lux Warwick – Quaker Lane in Rhode Island.
